I invite you to gather a picture of a child who is especially precious to you (or maybe several). Move it to an honored space -- perhaps where you pray or reflect. Keep it there for the week as we move closer to the celebration of the mystery of the Incarnation.

Today, and through the week, ask yourself: what would I be willing to risk for the life of this child?
