Awareness of the sacred in life is what holds our world together and the lack of awareness and sacred care is what is tearing it apart. Pollution and graffiti and billboards and slave wages and rejection of the feminine is tearing us apart. It will take a great deal of monastic mindfulness to put Humpty Dumpty back together. This time, perhaps, life depends on it.
