Pleasant Valley Monastery is located in Pleasant Valley Township of Potter County, Pennsylvania. The group meets at the home of two Benedictine Sisters of Erie, Phyllis Schleicher, OSB and Mary W. Hoffman, OSB, who do Catholic Rural Ministry in two counties of the Diocese of Erie. The five lay persons are: Lorraine and Steve Poirier, Genevieve Johnson, Diane Smith and Denise Balon. They are parishioners of Potter and McKean County parishes: Austin, Port Allegany, Smethport and Sartwell.
